The Diabetes Coalition of Palm Beach County is hosting its second annual Diabetes Educational Symposium on Friday, April 28th from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm. The symposium will once again be held at Scripps Research Institute.

This year’s program is:

The Many Faces of Diabetes
Examining the Full Spectrum of Diabetes
Professional Strategies in Prevention, Education, Research, and Technology
Today and Tomorrow

We would like to invite those health care providers and professionals interested in presenting at the 2017 Diabetes Educational Symposium to please provide the following information to the Coalition for consideration.

Speakers will be asked to focus their presentations around the theme that diabetes does not discriminate – it’s across the lifecycle – impacting all races, ethnicities, socio-economic status, etc.

Program topics will include:

  • Keynote Address to encompass the entire theme
  • Latest Research and Technology
  • Impact of Diabetes within Palm Beach County (data analysis)
  • Pharmacology
  • Nutrition
  • Community Best Practices – panel discussion

The program format will include both individual lecturers and panel discussions.

Interested speakers are asked to provide the following information.  To be considered all information must be included.
